Accounts Payable Coordinator

As our new Accounts Payable coordinator you will have the opportunity to draw on your five years of hands on supervisory A/P experience in a high volume industry to ensure timely payment of subcontractors, vendors and suppliers. 

In this position you will be responsible for:  ensuring that systems and procedures are documented - timely, consistently and in compliance with acceptable accounting practices.  Our Accounts Payable Coordinator position will give you the opportunity to supervise, work and develop a team of two Accounts Payable Assistants that are committed to meeting aggressive and timely payment goals while ensuring excellent customer service and building relationships that create raving fans.  This is a highly visible and dynamic position that reports to the Controller.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starting and eager accounting professional with a proven ability to motivate others and apply sound judgement and initiative in interpreting policy and guidelines on financial matters.  This challenging, fast-paced opportunity requires a detail oriented, critical thinking, deadline savvy individual that manges time and priorities effectively.  Candidates must have a successful track record of no less than five years of accounts payable experience, previous knowledge and use of Timberline software and have managed an accounting team of two or more people.  Familiarity and past use of a paperless invoicing system - such as pVault - is strongly preferred.  Only candidates with stable work histories will be considered - no more than 3 jobs in 10 years.
