Estimator

The Estimator is primarily responsible for the preparation of complete estimates for hard bids, negotiated bids, conceptual budgets, pre-construction and design-build proposals.  Responsibilities will include attending pre-bid meetings, preparing scopes of work, calculating complete takeoff of scopes of work, soliciting bids, maintaining subcontractor relationships and following awarded projects through to turnover to Operations.  May be expected to lead and coordinate total bid team efforts when assigned.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
• 5+ years of estimating, cost control, and/or engineering experience with at
• Thorough knowledge of estimating techniques
• Ability to estimate all types projects/contracts, plus ability to coordinate and supervise group work effort
• Efficiency with Excel
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
• Must be goal oriented and a self starter
• Ability to work in a faced paced, deadline oriented work environment
• Strong communication and analytical skills
