November 6, 2008 - Forrester broke ground this morning on the new DOES building located at 4058 Minnesota Avenue, NE. Forrester has teamed with EEC of DC, a certified local business, to construct this $48 million building. The building was designed by Devrouax + Purnell of Washington, DC.
The project will involve the construction of a new five-story headquarters for the Department of Employment Services (DOES). The new building will include an employment and business center on the ground floor, retail space for local businesses, a large ground floor community meeting room, office space for approximately 500 DOES employees, a green roof, and a two-level, 100-space underground parking garage.
