Forrester Construction recognized for its Award Winning Safety Program
Rockville, MD - May 28, 2008 - Forrester Construction recently received its fourth consecutive Associated Builders and Contractors STEP Platinum Safety Award. The Platinum STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) is the highest safety award given by each local chapter in recognition of a superior safety program.
The self evaluation must be validated by our insurance company before submission and measures twenty key components including; Management Commitment, EMR / Loss Ratio, Pre-Planning for Safety, Employee Orientation, Safety Training and Meetings, PPE, and recordkeeping. Forrester will compete in the National Safety Excellence Awards in 2009, based on our local recognition.
