Andrews Air Force Base - Multi-Family Facility

Description:
Demolition of an existing multi-family facility and the design/build construction of two new identical 60-unit, three-story, brick and reinforced concrete buildings. This project included challenging provisions for recently issued force protection design criteria. This involved 25-meter buffer zones from parking and roadways, laminated glass on all windows, and a structural system designed to resist progressive collapse.
