Description:
This Design/Build Project involved the construction of a materials testing laboratory building and an office building, which both contain testing and administrative areas, training, and meeting rooms. The laboratory building consists of seven independent testing areas- asphalt, structures, cement, concrete, soils, chemical, and instrument labs. Some of the specific features of these areas include a 100% Drying Room reaching over 120 degrees in temperature, 100% Moisture Room requiring constant humidity similar to a sauna, and concealed dust collection areas.
