Description:
This two-phase project involved a renovation and addition to a historic building, which was once home to the old Military Road School. For many years, this was the only school for African-Americans in a large portion of upper Northwest DC and is listed on the DC Inventory of Historic Sites. The new space includes new classrooms, offices, administrative and multi-purpose space, a green roof, and a full service cafeteria.
