Description:

The District of Columbia World War I Memorial was built in 1931 and commemorates the citizens of the District of Columbia who served in World War I. This project involved landscaping, new bluestone paving, masonry cleaning and restoration, electrical work, and replacement of the vault hatch cover in the Memorial chamber.
