Description:
A complete renovation of all four stories in this historic building was required in order to accommodate a new retail operation at this landmark site in the heart of Georgetown. This project involved extensive demolition within the structure, structural shoring, new structural steel for each floor and the roof, a four-stop elevator, new grand glass staircase, exterior masonry and window restoration, installation of a new roof, and facade restoration.
