901 Restaurant & Bar

901 Restaurant & Bar features contemporary American cuisine with an Asian influence designed for sharing in a stylized urban setting. Adopting the title from the street address, this popular Penn Quarter eatery seats up to 250 and features a main dining room, bar and lounge with VIP space, private dining room, and a chef’s table private room.

This Forrester Construction project involved an interior demolition and build-out to create an upscale restaurant featuring clean lines, dim lighting, and different sections named after neighborhoods in DC. High-end finishes include columns wrapped in gray alligator-skin wallpaper, a seven-foot fireplace recessed into a wall, glass globes that float above the foyer, shiny metallic banquettes, billowy curtains and a linear hearth in the back, as well as a red velvet rope surrounding a white marble chef’s table next to the kitchen.
