Trinity Washington University

For this project, Forrester Construction built the 82,000 SF Trinity Center, a new campus athletic center, for Trinity Washington University.  Founded in 1897, Trinity Washington University is a historic women’s college in Northeast DC’s Edgewood neighborhood.

Construction of the Trinity Center was performed in two phases. The center’s NCAA soccer field was built first followed by the three story athletic building. The building features a unique architectural design with three entrances that meet inside a two-story loggia. The first floor houses an NCAA Olympic size swimming pool with a spa and locker rooms. The facility also includes a large gymnasium on the second floor and a running track on the third floor.
