Brasserie Beck

Brasserie Beck is a contemporary European style brasserie in the heart of DC’s McPherson Square neighborhood. For this project Forrester Construction built-out the 8,000 SF high-end restaurant and bar in a new base building.

Brasserie Beck’s informal style and café style seating is reminiscent of Belgian-French eateries found in Europe. With and open floor plan and 25-foot exposed beam ceilings, the restaurant uses large ornamental metal and glass dividers to separate the vestibule and main and private dining areas. A glass-enclosed display kitchen located in the middle of the dining room is supported by a vast back-of-house kitchen area with five walk-in refrigerators, a cold prep room and a dedicated seafood station. The bar is situated prominently at the front of the restaurant featuring a marble top, custom millwork and 14-foot light pendants suspended from the ceiling. The space also includes an espresso bar and two temperature controlled wine rooms.
