Rí Rá Irish Pub

For this project, Forrester Construction performed interior and structural renovations in the existing 9,000 SF Ri Ra Irish Pub.  Located in Georgetown in Northwest DC, Rí Rá Irish Pub brings the warm pub style of 19th and early 20th century Ireland to the Metro area.

Forrester modified the structures of two adjacent Georgetown rowhouses joining them to create one large, multi-level restaurant space. Interior renovations included kitchen, dining room, restroom and bar areas. The restaurant’s finishes are all custom-made made from materials salvaged from early 1900s Ireland. New MEP systems and all new lighting were also put in place.

The project also required sifnificant structural renovations involving demolition, modifications and infilling. Forrester also installed a new roof on the buildings.
