U.S. Census Bureau Parking Structures

Forrester Construction‘s project involved construction of two six-level parking structures at U.S. Census Bureau Parking Structures, each with approximately 1,600 spaces. The structural system is composed of post-tensioned cast-in-place slabs; precast beams, girders, and columns; and cast-in-place concrete shear walls. A curving façade with planters on the second level and green screen above provide visual appeal and demonstrate the architectural flexibility of this type of construction system.
