Western Loudoun Medical Office Building

For this project, Forrester Construction erected a 100,000 SF facility for the Western Loudon Medical Office Building.   The two separate base buildings were connected to each other and to the existing hospital building.  It is located on the Western Loudoun Medical Center campus in Leesburg, VA.  The Western Loudoun Medical Office Building is a 100,000 SF facility constructed to house medical practices. The buildings are two- and four-story structures each with adjoining parking lots totaling 275 spaces.

The steel framed structures rest on spread footings with light gauge metal sub framing. The building’s skin is comprised of brick, aluminium punched windows and curtainwall with an exterior insulation finishing system (EFIS). The west elevation of the two-story building is curved with two rows of segmental ribbon windows. Inside, 22 individual medical office suites are arranged around a large central lobby. The two-story grand lobby has a wood and ceramic tile spiral staircase that leads to a mezzanine level with clerestory and punched windows.
