Episcopal High School

Located in Northern Virginia, Episcopal High School is a co-ed college preparatory boarding school for grades 9 through 12. For this project Forrester Construction constructed a new, modern science center to meet increasing student interest in the sciences.

Designed to match existing campus buildings, the 34,000 SF structure has a brick and stone façade with a slate roof and punched windows. The building features a two-story glass rotunda, specialized biology, chemistry, physic and environmental science classrooms, a lecture hall and administrative office space. The project also required the installation of MEP systems, casework and equipment to support laboratory functions.

This project had many sustainable features. The completed facility is LEED™ certified.
